Ston, our first destination, is well-known for its 14th-century stone walls which, being 5 kilometres long, are one of the longest in the world. Another landmark of Ston are old salt ponds and, interestingly enough, salt is still produced in the old way.

Sightseeing of Ston and the area.
Ston is renowned for its delicious oysters that we will taste on the boat taking us to oyster-beds, where we will see how oysters are being taken out from the sea and we will try to do the same ourselves.

Lunch at Bota Šare with oyster tasting.
Reastaurant Bota Šare is situated in the medieval castle on the quayside in Mali Ston. Bota in old language (that was spoken in Dubrovnik area) means curved vaulted ceilings. The restaurant has always offered and nurtured original, native Dalmatian cuisine. Oysters, shells, crabs and fish are prepared according to original Ston recipes from the times of the Dubrovnik Republic.

*In case of bad weather or sea conditions the tour can be shortened or cannot reach the agreed destination. For safety reasons, a different route or destination might be taken to shorten the excursion.
